Trail Update January 31, 2022

TRAIL CLOSURES – Effective Tuesday February 1, 2022 at 6AM Neillsville/Granton Trail Busters (ALL CLOSED) GWR Riders (Greenwood) (CLOSED east of County Highway M) Thorp Sno Raiders (ALL CLOSED except corridor trail 27 will remain open) PARTIAL TRAIL CLOSURES – Effective Tuesday February 1, 2022 at 6AM Curtiss Boomtown Sno Chasers: Trail O (CLOSED) Loyal Sno Angels: Corridor trail 20 between intersection 74 & 76 (CLOSED) Clark County: Trail FS between Snyder County Park & intersection 9A (CLOSED for the season) All other Snowmobile and Winter ATV trails located on Public and Private Lands in Clark County will remain open. Please reference the Clark County snowmobile map for further clarification on exact location of trail closures. Please follow the color coded trails for each club as well as intersection numbers. https://www.clarkcountywi.gov/for-trails-snowmobile Riders can expect early season riding conditions, this includes icy patches, thin base and rough agricultural fields. Riders are reminded to use caution while riding. Please use caution while riding trails in the Clark County Forest. There are several areas where logging operations are taking place. Trucks will be hauling on forest roads and snowmobile trails. Some snowmobile trails are plowed. Please slow down, yield to logging equipment and use caution. Please note that UTV’s are not allowed on the Clark County Trails system during the winter months (November 1- May 14).
